A remarkable story of resilience, love, and hope began with a tiny bundle of joy named Olivia. Olivia came into the world with Trisomy 18, a condition that presented immense challenges from the very start. Doctors, with somber expressions, had told her parents that she wouldn't make it past her first week.

But Olivia had other plans.

Against all odds, this determined little warrior not only surpassed that one-week mark but continued to defy expectations with each passing day. Olivia's strength, infectious laughter, and radiant smile became a beacon of hope for her family and everyone who crossed her path. Her journey inspired those around her to believe in miracles and the power of unwavering love.

As Olivia grew, her family realized that they weren't alone in their struggle. They met other families facing similar battles, sharing stories of hope and resilience amidst the challenges of Trisomy. Together, they envisioned a brighter future where every child with Trisomy could thrive.

Out of this shared vision, Olivia's Odyssey was born. Founded by Olivia's parents and fueled by their determination to make a difference, this nonprofit organization aimed to support Trisomy families, just like theirs.

The heartwarming story of Olivia's fight and her family's unwavering love became a symbol of resilience and hope for countless others. The organization's mission extended far beyond the boundaries of their hometown, touching lives across the nation.

And now, as Olivia turned three, she was not just surviving; she was thriving. Her journey had become an inspiration, a testament to the remarkable strength of the human spirit.

As her parents we will forever be thankful for the cardiovascular surgery team at Nemours Children Hospital in Orlando Florida. They took a chance on our Olivia. Because of them she is living her amazing life. We could never give this hospital what they have given to us and that's the gift of time.
